Patient group

We have an active patient participation group at our practice.

A message and history from our Patient Group:-

The Patient Group (PG) has been in existence since 2007 to represent the interests of all patients registered with the Stokenchurch Medical Centre.

The first Annual General Meeting of the group was held on 1st November 2012 when after a vote for a chairman, secretary and committee members had taken place the group became formal and our Aims and Objectives document was adopted.

The Stokenchurch Patients’ Group exists to give you the opportunity to have your say on the services offered by the Stokenchurch Medical Centre.

The SPG is open to all of the surgery’s 7,000 patients and there is a panel of 12 volunteers from the group who meet regularly with SMC staff to work on ways to improve the patient experience. The minutes of these meetings and a newsletter are published to keep patients up to date with health news and information about any SMC changes. There are also regular updates on the Patient Group Facebook page.

There is no charge to become a member of the PG. All that is needed is to register your contact details on one of the forms provided by us at the Local Library or by submitting your request via the online form below.

The SPG is your voice. To make your voice heard please register your interest in the group by completing the following form. If you have any questions you can contact us on Stokenchurchpatientsgroup@outlook.com
